Pastor Bob, What a great analogy or explanation about using physical responses vs using a different set of responses beyond the physical with regard to repentance. I particularly related to the following lines:
"Repentance is about using a set of senses beyond the physical. Intuition, wisdom, revelation, faith (yeah, you remeber, the assurance of things NOT SEEN!)"
Well, I've been blessed to have acquired a sense beyond the physical that truly gives me comfort and most importantly 'ASSURANCE' that God is there. That particular sense is 'FAITH'. There was a time when I did not have "FAITH', but once I acquired it I was able to see more clearly and repent. To be honest, I never really looked at it that way before now. Thank You

Repentence...changing the way you see and perceive...using the senses that the Spirit of God provides, Intuition, wisdom, revelation, faith...to take in and respond to the world around you, instead of relying on the physical senses alone.

The Spirit of God shows us things that we would never see or perceive in the flesh, in the natural. Giving us glimpses of the way God sees and perceives the world.

GOOD STUFF!
